Responsibilities
The Maintenance Technician is responsible in carryout day to day preventive and corrective maintenance activities and manage contractor at the site and responsible for reliability of Facilities and production equipment.
1. Execute maintenance program (PM/CM) for manufacturing/ process / production.
Develop PM check sheet of plant equipment and schedule maintenance activities.
Carryout checking & data-logging for plant equipments & machinery.
Identify critical spare parts and maintain inventory.
Perform various maintenance activities and execute all maintenance work order.
2. Asset Management of these developed maintenance program.
Gather data for Asset Management (Equipment Data, Nameplates Data, Material List, Location, Cost Codes, Warranty, Meter, Safety Data, Cost, Configuration, User-Field)
3. Document Controls (Master List, Maintenance Plan, PID, Drawings, Files (Hardcopy & Softcopy), Records, Document relating to ISO)
Participate in review and update of risk assessment.
Perform documentation and paperwork (Maintenance records, maintain checklist/ Register / SOP)
4. Contractor Management & its contractor programs
Liaise with Vendors/Contractors to request for quotation (RFQ) and request purchase order (PO) via internal system, delivery orders (DO and Invoices, etc).
Liaise with vendors/Contractors/ 3rd Party Testing Bodies/ Regulations relating to Facility Management.
Supervise contractor activities at the site; ensure compliances to EHS procedure.
5. Collaborate & support EHS programs (LOTO/WAH), attend in-house training / Online Training Edge, learn to use company software application (eg. Process map/ Reliance)
Promote good & safe facility practices & conditions for associates.
Participate in the implementation of EHS programs
Other project: Support implementation of continual facilities improvement, cost savings, safety health and environment aspects
6. Performs other duties as assigned by Senior Manager, Maintenance and Project Support, Maintenance Engineer, or his other delegates.
Nitec / Higher Nitec/ Diploma in ITE in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in chemical plant
Ability to work independently.
Ability to read, write and speak English to interpret technical documents, such as equipment manuals etc.
Knowledge of safety protocols in chemical handling and processing.
Knowledge control systems (DCS/SCADA).
