Job Description
Responsibilities
Family Group: Ancillary
As a Sr/Technician, you will be responsible for the engineering and maintenance of all building facilities services of the Hospital. This includes but not limited to: -
Basic knowledge on Electrical, ACMV, Plumbing, Fire Alarm System, Mechanical and Building Services system
Familiar with LV switchboards, DB'c MCB/RCCB/RCD/UPS, generators and power outages
Able to respond to water leakages, flooding, pumps and water supply issues
Able to assess MEP breakdown symptoms and identify the cause and escalate to the appropriate Trade IC
Update the maintenance and breakdown records into the computerised system
Maintain the workshop facilities, tools and test equipment
Operate the Facilities Control Centre helpdesk and Store, when needed
Identify and initiate spare parts procurement
Inspect, test, service, troubleshoot all facilities and equipment to maximise their availability
Upkeep the building’s facilities and equipment
Requirements:
Preferably Diploma/Higher Nitec/Nitec in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent
At least 4 years of engineering experience preferable in building Engineering services
Able to multitask and work independently, with a hands-on approach, to meet tight timelines
Good oral and written communication skills in the English language for report writing
Committed to work on 24/7 rotating shift schedule (including night shift) and support cover duties
Good oral and written communication skills in the English language for report writing
Comfortable in using Microsoft Office CMMS
Preferably CERT certified
