Full Time Director of Post-Production (Media) Jobs, in Morgan Philips Group Federal Territory - Maukerja

Morgan Philips is partnered with a leading global media services company to identify a Director to lead a regional delivery organization serving the world's top studios and streaming platforms.

This is a senior leadership role reporting into overseas group leadership, responsible for stably running a distributed organization operating across multiple countries and time zones. The successful candidate will collaborate directly with studio- and streaming-platform-level clients, serving as the primary point of contact for critical service delivery matters.

We are looking for more than a manager — a strategic leader who understands technology change and automation in a global content services environment, and who can drive workflow improvement and new business growth.

What You'll Do

• The full delivery pipeline: mastering, quality control, delivery, packaging, and audio
• Day-to-day performance, quality, staffing, and efficiency of the Malaysia-based team
• Getting processes aligned and consistent across countries and sites
• Coordinating collaboration across a distributed, multi-country workforce
• Growing the next layer of leadership — coaching Directors and Managers underneath them
• Client relationships at the studio/streaming level, including handling escalations directly
• Spotting where automation or better tooling could improve the workflow, and weighing in on which tools make sense
• Supporting sales efforts — helping win new clients and expand existing accounts
• Working with global leadership on broader strategy, staffing plans, and quality initiatives
• Catching operational problems early and fixing them before they escalate

What You'll Bring

• At least 5 years running teams at Director level or higher, specifically in media/post-production operations
• Led people across multiple countries — and actually developed leaders underneath them, not just managed individual contributors
• Worked inside a global company, reporting up to leadership based somewhere else
• Managed audio/mixing teams directly, not just adjacent functions
• Been the main operational contact for a big studio or streaming client
• Helped win new business or expand accounts, even if not formally in sales
• Been able to take what a client wants and turn it into something the team can actually deliver
• A working knowledge of the tech and automation tools used in media delivery today (doesn't need to be an architect-level understanding)
• Been part of standardizing or improving how an operations team works

A plus, not a requirement:

• Experience with media orchestration or workflow automation platforms
• Direct experience working with major global studios or streaming platforms

Location & Language

• Based in Malaysia
• Fluent, business-level English required
• Comfortable working across cultures with overseas leadership and multi-country teams
