Job Description:

The Public Relation Officer shall be responsible for the following:

1. Establish, manage and maintain relationships with Stakeholders including but not limited to the community at large, media, public interest groups, etc throughout the Contract Period.
2. Respond to requests for information release or press conference from the media, draft press releases and other media communications, confer with, draft response for and providing advice to deal with enquiries from public, the press, and related organizations.
3. Build and maintain a positive image of the project.
4. Initiate proactive measures to mitigate complaints, such as generating a list of FAQs to cultivate a positive Project image.
5. Anticipate and address concerns by holding lines in preparation for queries from the public.
6. Always remain contactable and in case of emergency, respond to the calls, and be readily available to attend to the situation as soon as possible, regardless of whether such emergency occurs during or after office hours.
7. Attend to claims by any third party and attend to the meeting relating to the Project during and after office hours.
8. Should the media be involved, the PRO shall coordinate closely with the Project Team and Employer's Comminications Department to provide an aligned response.

The candidate shall possess the following qualifications and experience:

• The PRO shall possess at least Bachelor's degree either in Communications, Journalism, Public Relation, Marketing, or other related field with at least seven (7) years of relevant experience in public engagement and construction works.
• The PRO shall be organized with excellent interpersonal skills and creative mind who is able to handle public relations situations with excellent communication skills both orally and in writing.
• Contract period: 60 months
• Employment: Contract basis (project staff based on site)
• 5.5 days working week
• Woodlands area
• Preferably Singaporeans
