Responsibilities
2-Month Freelance Contract | Immediate Start
We are looking for an experienced
Freelance Colourist / Video Editor
to support the post-production of a
7-episode long-form content series
. This is a short-term engagement for approximately
2 months
, starting immediately.
Key Responsibilities
Perform professional
colour grading and colour correction
across all episodes to ensure a consistent visual look and feel.
Work on
long-form content
and maintain colour continuity across scenes, cameras and episodes.
Collaborate with the production/post-production team to achieve the intended visual style.
Make revisions based on creative feedback and deliver final graded files according to project specifications.
Manage multiple episodes and work efficiently to meet a
fast production turnaround
.
Provide basic post-production/video editing support where required.
Requirements
Proficient in
DaVinci Resolve
.
Working knowledge of
Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects
.
Prior experience colour grading
long-form content, episodic series, documentaries or similar productions
.
Strong understanding of colour correction, colour matching, tones, exposure and visual consistency.
Able to work independently and turn around projects quickly.
Reliable and able to commit to the project for the full 2-month period.
Portfolio/showreel demonstrating relevant colour-grading work is required.
