We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Business Analyst / Senior Business Analyst to focus on Client Data Quality and Governance. Reporting to the Team Lead, this is a full-time and permanent position based in Global Delivery Hubs in Johor Bahru or Kuala Lumpur, allowing you to make a significant impact to our team and its growth.


Key Responsibilities


Section A – Master Data: Master File Creation & Management

  • Create and maintain Master Files for Managed Entities and General Relations across multiple jurisdictions in the Entity Management System database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all Masterfile entries meet established standards.
  • Store finalized documents in Document Management System in accordance with established naming conventions and filing protocols.
  • Liaise and coordinate with Finance, Client Acceptance Team, Business Development, Account Management, and relevant teams to ensure smooth Masterfile creation and entity setup.
  • Conduct periodic data quality audits to identify and rectify discrepancies.
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.


Section B – Entity Management System

  • Monitor and redirect all requests and queries to Entity Management System for request resolutions. Follow up and ensure completion of all requests and queries received.
  • Identify gaps and areas of improvement in Entity Management System and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
  • Gather, document, and analyse business requirements from stakeholders for Entity Management System enhancements and configurations.
  • Conduct gap analysis between current system capabilities and business needs.
  • Participate in system enhancement testing (UAT) related to Entity Management System, Document Management System and integrated platforms.
  • Support integration activities between Entity Management System and other platforms.
  • Assist in data mapping, data migration planning, and validation for system integrations.


Key Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and completeness.
  • Good communication skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Meticulous and able to work to tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
  • Ability to organise and prioritize work with minimum supervision.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
  • Familiarity with database management concepts and data entry best practices.
  • Analytical and detail-oriented, with the ability to detect data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.


Relevant Experience

  • Experience working with entity management systems – ViewPoint experience is a strong advantage.
  • Relevant experience in KYC requirements and corporate entity structures preferred.
  • Prior experience in professional services firms, including corporate services and legal firms, preferred.
  • Experience handling entities across multiple jurisdictions is an advantage.


Education / Professional Qualifications

  • Degree or Diploma in any relevant field; data management certifications are advantageous but not mandatory.
