Strong interpersonal and communication skills are the baseline. Not the differentiator, the baseline. Experience or genuine interest in advertising, branding, or the creative industry is a significant advantage. You'll need to be comfortable handling clients directly, managing expectations, and yes, having difficult conversations gracefully. Prior experience in account management or client servicing is preferred but not required if you can demonstrate the right instincts. Formal qualifications are not the yardstick we measure by.

You're the bridge between our clients and our creative team, which means you need to understand both worlds well enough to speak both languages. This isn't a purely administrative role. You'll be managing relationships, taking briefs, keeping projects on track, and just as importantly, growing accounts. That means sales is part of your DNA here, nurturing existing clients and actively identifying opportunities for new ones.

You'll need enough design and advertising literacy to have intelligent conversations with clients about creative direction without second-guessing the designer every five minutes. You won't be designing anything, but you need to understand why certain decisions are made and be able to defend them in a room.

This is a role for someone who's personable without being a pushover, organised without being rigid, and hungry without being impatient.
