Job Title: Project Engineer - Power Electronics

Job Description: Project Engineer

Location: Singapore

Overview:

Provide project management and engineering support for the development and delivery of innovative power electronics solutions in the Australian market. Working closely with Senior Project Engineers and Program Leadership, ensure effective project execution through planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and governance support.

Operating in a client-side role, support the day-to-day coordination of projects, including documentation management, reporting, data administration, and stakeholder facilitation to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily project activities, including scheduling meetings, engaging stakeholders across Engineering and Project Delivery teams, tracking actions, and maintaining project documentation and registers.
• Plan, facilitate, and document project meetings, workshops, design reviews, and cross-functional coordination sessions, ensuring actions are assigned and closed out.
• Coordinate engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams, consultants, and technology partners to support project delivery.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, reporting, and the management of milestones, risks, and action items.
• Participate in design reviews, technical workshops, and risk assessment activities.
• Foster strong working relationships with stakeholders across Research & Development, Engineering, Operations, and Project Development teams.
• Support project governance, stage-gate requirements, and compliance with company standards and safety obligations.
• Prepare project reports, presentations, and other key deliverables while ensuring accurate project records are maintained.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to project leadership on status, risks, and key outcomes.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and capture lessons learned to enhance future project execution.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Project Management, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Mining, Systems), Sustainability, Business Administration, or equivalent experience in a related field.
• 3+ years proven experience in Project Management or Project Engineering roles, with demonstrated capability in project delivery and administration.
• Competent in MS Project for schedule development and management, competency in Primavera P6 highly regarded.
• Competent in MS Excel and PowerPoint – ability to manipulate data, create complex spreadsheets, and develop professional presentations.
• Experience in Project Cost Management, Schedule Management, Stakeholder & Communications Management, Risk & Opportunity Management essential
• Strong meeting facilitation skills and the ability to coordinate across multiple concurrent projects and diverse stakeholder groups.
• Strong stakeholder management and engagement abilities, with strong interpersonal and communication skills across operational and corporate functions.
• Agile-minded with adaptability and flexibility in dynamic, fast-paced, and sometimes ambiguous environments.
• Curiosity and continuous learning orientation, with a drive to engage in personal and team development and stay current with emerging decarbonisation technologies.
• Strong time management and organisational skills – essential for managing multiple concurrent project initiatives and engineering studies.
• Exposure to innovation management processes, R&D project delivery, or technology evaluation frameworks desirable.
• Exposure to integrating digital and AI tools to enhance project evaluation and decision-making highly regarded.
