About The Role
The Senior Manager, Finance Business Partnering supports country central services for Supply Chain Management (SCM) controlling within DKSH's business in Malaysia, encompassing financial reporting, business performance analysis, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking, budgeting, forecasting, and working capital optimization. This role is pivotal in partnering with Supply Chain leadership to drive strategic decision-making, cost optimization, operational efficiency, risk management, and continuous improvement across the supply chain network.
What You Will Deliver
- Serve as strategic finance business partner to Supply Chain leadership by providing financial insights, performance analysis, and recommendations to support decision-making, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Prepare in-depth financial analysis, variance analysis, and management commentaries including working capital performance, to facilitate business discussions and informed decision-making
- Partner with Supply Chain leadership to drive financial strategies, productivity initiatives, and long-term business planning that support sustainable growth and operational excellence
- Establish effective communication and alignment across countries on controlling matters, financial issues, risks, and required actions
- Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes across functions within the country, ensuring alignment with global guidelines, timely reviews, consolidation, and presentation to management
- Review supply chain-related business cases and perform financial modelling and Profit and Loss (P&L) simulations to support strategic and operational decision-making
- Lead monthly business performance reviews with senior management by providing strategic insights on risks, opportunities, scenario analysis, and corrective action plans
- Drive cost optimization, productivity, and value creation initiatives across procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, and logistics operations
- Champion digitalization and automation initiatives to enhance reporting efficiency, data visibility, and decision-making capabilities through tools such as Power BI, Lighthouse, and analytics platforms
- Support and lead global and local finance initiatives, transformation projects, and strategic priorities in collaboration with regional and country stakeholders
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with procurement, manufacturing, logistics, commercial, and finance teams to drive business performance and organizational objectives
- Ensure strong financial governance, compliance, and internal controls across Supply Chain Finance processes and activities
- Foster a high-performance and collaborative culture that promotes accountability, continuous improvement, and effective business partnership
- Provide leadership and guidance to cross-functional teams in driving strategic initiatives, transformation projects, and operational improvements
- Influence and align stakeholders across Supply Chain, Commercial, Operations, and Finance functions to achieve organizational objectives
What You Bring
- Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Finance, Accountancy, Banking, or an equivalent discipline; professional certification such as the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
- At least 8 years of working experience in a relevant finance or business partnering role
- Strong business and financial acumen with a sound understanding of Supply Chain Management (SCM) operations, business drivers, and industry dynamics
- Strong knowledge and practical application of Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A), management accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial controlling principles
- Proven ability to provide strategic financial insights and influence business decision-making through data-driven analysis and effective business partnering
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights
