We are expanding our family and looking for a Life Skills and Social Studies Teacher for Lower Primary students aged 7–9. We welcome someone who is patient, caring and creative, and enjoys bringing lessons to life through interesting props, storytelling, role-play, games and hands-on activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Life Skills and Social Studies lessons.
- Teach practical everyday skills, including personal care, safety, independence, teamwork and responsible decision-making.
- Help students learn about people, communities, cultures and the world around them.
- Use creative props, visual aids, role-play and practical activities to make learning meaningful and enjoyable.
- Connect lessons to real-life situations and encourage students to ask questions, explore and participate.
- Create a welcoming classroom with engaging displays and learning resources.
- Assess students’ progress, provide encouraging feedback and maintain learning records.
- Adapt activities to meet different learning needs and abilities.
- Support students’ social and emotional development, including kindness, respect and positive relationships.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent-teacher meetings, extracurricular activities and school events.

REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a Bachelor's Degree in the relevant area that you are teaching.
- Must have teaching qualification such as certificate or post graduate diploma in education or teaching.
- At least 3 years of teaching experience in primary or secondary curriculum, especially in related subjects.
- Practical working experience in International School will be an added advantage.
- Computer literate with good communication and interpersonal skills.
