Full Time Manager - Senior Manager, Investment Data - Middle Office Oversight Jobs, in Empower Partners Singapore - Maukerja

I am partnering with a leading asset management platform to hire a Manager / Senior Manager within its investment operations function in Singapore. This role sits in a regional oversight team responsible for ensuring the quality, completeness and reliability of investment data produced by outsourced middle-office service providers.

Job Scope

You will provide governance and oversight across middle-office data and operating processes, with a focus on pricing, trade, position and portfolio-related data used across downstream reporting, operations and business functions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee outsourced middle-office service delivery and data quality
• Review pricing, trade and position data exceptions and control gaps
• Investigate data breaks and drive root-cause resolution with service providers and internal teams
• Establish governance, escalation and reporting processes
• Monitor service provider performance against agreed standards and controls
• Partner with operations, technology, risk and compliance teams on issue resolution
• Support onboarding of new markets, products, instruments and process changes
• Lead incident reviews, remediation tracking and stakeholder updates
• Identify opportunities to strengthen controls, improve workflows and automate manual processes

Requirements

• Degree in Business, Finance or related discipline
• CFA, CAIA, ACCA or equivalent certifications highly advantageous
• 8–12+ years’ relevant experience in asset management middle office, investment operations, data governance or service provider oversight
• Strong understanding of asset management operating models and downstream data dependencies
• Experience overseeing outsourced service providers, including performance reviews, issue escalation and control challenge
• Strong ability to investigate complex data issues and influence resolution across multiple stakeholders
• Experience with investment platforms, data tools or operating model change preferred
• Strong risk, control and governance mindset
• Excellent communication skills and ability to engage senior stakeholders
