Staff benefits and hotel privileges

Located in the heart of Singapore’s historic district between Chinatown and Clarke Quay, 21 Carpenter is a heritage boutique hotel that blends history with contemporary hospitality. The building is conserved under Urban Redevelopment Authority (URA) regulations, preserving its architectural character as a former remittance house, where early immigrants once sent money back to their families. Thoughtfully restored and reimagined, the property reflects both its rich heritage and modern design sensibilities.

The hotel features 48 thoughtfully designed rooms and suites, each unique in character as the interior elements of the former remittance house have been carefully preserved. This means that no two rooms are exactly the same. Guests can also unwind at the rooftop infinity pool and garden terrace, offering a tranquil retreat above the city with views of the surrounding heritage neighbourhood.

Within the hotel is Kee’s, a contemporary neo-bistro and bar that brings together European flavours with refined Asian influences in a warm and inviting setting.
