We are looking for a responsible and caring
Preschool Cook
to join our team at
Cambridge Pre-school @ Holland (Buona Vista)
.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for infants and preschool children
Follow the centre’s planned menu and appropriate food portions
Prepare meals according to children’s dietary requirements and food allergies
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness and kitchen safety
Ensure proper handling, preparation and storage of food
Keep the kitchen, cooking equipment and utensils clean and organised
Monitor food supplies and inform the centre when ingredients need to be replenished
Receive and check food deliveries
Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping duties when required
Follow the centre’s health, hygiene and food safety procedures
Requirements
Experience in cooking or food preparation preferred
Able to prepare simple, healthy meals suitable for young children
Knowledge of food hygiene and safe food-handling practices
Food Safety Course Level 1 certification preferred
Able to accommodate dietary restrictions and allergies
Responsible, hygienic and organised
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working in a preschool environment

Located in the Holland-Ghim Moh district, our pre-school offers a dynamic learning environment centered around our iSTEAM curriculum. Our facility boasts child-centered classrooms equipped with interactive learning tools and age-appropriate learning corners to foster an engaging educational experience where children can explore learning concepts taught in class. We also have various outdoor spaces in the vicinity to promote exploration and discovery.
