Job Summary

Lead and support service staff to deliver excellent restaurant operations by managing floor control, ensuring quality standards, resolving issues, and maximizing sales and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and allocate tasks to service staff to optimize team performance within the assigned unit
• Conduct daily briefings and check restaurant readiness to ensure smooth service operations
• Manage customer flow and seating arrangements to enhance dining experience and operational efficiency
• Oversee service quality, cleanliness, and ambience, addressing any lapses promptly to maintain standards
• Manage cash floats, audit rolls, and troubleshoot cash register errors to ensure accurate financial handling
• Document all cash shortages and surpluses and reconcile payment collections accurately
• Act as escalation point for service crew to resolve operational and service issues efficiently
• Investigate and resolve complex customer complaints and feedback in a timely manner to uphold customer satisfaction
• Enforce compliance with restaurant quality, service, cleanliness, and value standards consistently
• Monitor and ensure adherence to all safety procedures and guidelines within the restaurant environment
• Implement corrective actions to address unsafe or non-compliant conditions related to personal and food safety
• Conduct induction training for new hires to equip them with necessary skills and knowledge for their roles
• Provide ongoing training to encourage role rotation and skill development among service staff
• Train and monitor staff adherence to company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Promote and ensure workplace safety practices are followed daily to maintain a safe working environment
• Coordinate activities involving people, products, and equipment to maximize sales and profitability
