Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and caring MSF Childminder to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children and young persons, promoting their learning and development through engaging activities and attentive care.
Responsibilities
Perform essential care tasks such as cleaning infants and toddlers after defecating, changing diapers, preparing powdered formula, feeding, and accompanying toddlers to the toilet to ensure their well-being
Monitor and maintain the safety of children and young persons within the premises at all times
Design and facilitate age-appropriate activities and play to engage children and support their development
Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the premises, including sanitising toys and books daily and as needed
Accompany children and young persons to hospitals or Voluntary Children’s Homes (VCHs) for placement and complete all required administrative paperwork accurately
Ferry children from MSF nanny's houses to childcare centres
Adapt to assigned duties and responsibilities as directed by MSF and Company
Report to MSF Building or MSF External Site for work assignments
Required competencies and certifications
Ability to pass a background check
Preferred competencies and qualifications
Minimum O Level, Diploma, or Higher Nitec in Early Childhood
One (1) year of experience caring for children aged 0-21 years old
Certification in CPR and First Aid (preferred but not required)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated in caregiving contexts
Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for children shown through daily interactions
Ability to multitask and be independent and prioritize caregiving and administrative tasks effectively
Willingness to undergo additional training and professional development as required
Other Information
Working Hours:
Morning Shift: 10am–7pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays)
Afternoon Shift: 1pm–10pm on weekdays (excluding public holidays)
Night Shift: 7pm–4am on weekdays (excluding public holidays)
Shift system includes day and night shifts, Monday to Sunday
Work Location: MSF Building / MSF External Sites
Company transportation provided.
