Key Responsibilities

• Develop the core argument for each bid: what it is, how it's sequenced, and why it will persuade the client.
• Own proposals and RFP responses end to end, including documents exceeding 60 pages.
• Produce supporting marketing content that reinforces the same positioning — case studies, white papers, and sector points of view.
• Conduct research from scratch on clients, sectors, competitors, and regulatory context.
• Participate in pre-bid client sessions to define the problem, map stakeholders, and assess the current state.
• Present to clients and internal stakeholders, including pitch sessions, workshops, and partner meetings.
• Contribute a point of view on the firm's direction — sectors, services, and markets to prioritize.
• Structure strategic thinking on positioning, pricing, and go-to-market approach.
• Identify and flag weaknesses in proposed arguments before they reach the client.

What Would You Need?

• 2–3 years of experience at McKinsey, Bain, BCG, a comparable strategy firm, or a Big Four strategy practice.
• Proven ability to synthesize a messy brief and disparate source material into a single, coherent argument sustained across 60+ pages.
• Ability to produce slides at a professional standard without dedicated design support.
• Confidence presenting to client executives and responding to challenging questions in real time.
• Strong research judgment — sourcing information, assessing reliability, and drawing sound conclusions.
• Sufficient business analysis capability to structure a problem, without extending into functional specification.
• Written English of a standard that withstands scrutiny from client legal and procurement teams.
• Working familiarity with technology topics — cloud, data platforms, software delivery, AI — without requiring coding ability.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively against fixed deadlines with shifting inputs.
