Pictet Asset Services provides custody, fund services and trading solutions for external asset managers, fund managers and institutional clients. We manage every aspect of the asset servicing value chain and our range of bespoke solutions include value-adding analytics, trading strategy support and digital front-end interfaces designed to provide an unrivalled customer experience.

Your role

This role support and develop Pictet Asset Services B2B client relationships in Asia by combining front-facing relationship management with strong operational and servicing capabilities, acting as a shadow Client Relationship Manager (CRM) while ensuring best-in-class day-to-day support. For the candidate with the appropriate credential and ambition, this position offers a potential pathway to a full CRM role in the future.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Officer

  • Lead with complex account opening/closing, static data changes and onboarding of new services, ensuring completeness and accuracy of documentation.
  • Provide daily operational support including but not limited to: processing and monitoring of payments, cash movements, securities orders, fund subscriptions/redemptions, and asset transfers.
  • Handle client queries and incidents, ensuring timely resolution, proper escalation and clear communication to clients and internal teams.
  • Verify the accuracy of transactions and data input in core banking and PAS tools; maintain up-to-date client files and internal records.
  • Contribute to client satisfaction and retention through proactive, solution-oriented servicing and regular contact (calls, emails, meetings).
  • Assist in coordinating internal stakeholders (Operations, Legal, Compliance, Credit, Trading, other PAS locations) to deliver a seamless client experience. Promote collaboration and alignment of processes between Singapore and other PAS hubs (Geneva/Luxembourg).
  • Contribute to keeping operating memoranda, procedures and checklists accurate and up to date as processes evolve.

Commercial Support / Relationship Management (Shadow CRM)

  • Support senior MH/ CRMs in managing and developing relationships with existing Institutional clients including preparation for meetings and follow-ups. Help build a comprehensive understanding of clients’ business models, objectives, challenges and decision-making processes.
  • Support commercial initiatives (pricing analyses, fee schedules, KPIs, simple profitability views) and preparation of pitch or review materials for existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify and flag opportunities for cross-sell / up-sell and process improvements to the CRM and Market Head.

Your profile

Education & Experience

  • University degree or equivalent in Finance, Economics, Business or related field.
  • 5–7 years’ experience in a Client Relationship Officer / Client Service / middle-office role in asset servicing, custody, or private banking; strong exposure to B2B clients (Asset Managers, Institutional clients, EAMs/GIs).
  • Good understanding of banking and asset-servicing products, operational flows and securities / funds processing; knowledge of Avaloq or similar core banking system is an advantage.
  • CMFAS / CACS certifications are an advantage.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Solid knowledge of asset-servicing operations: payments, cash sweeping, settlements, corporate actions, account opening and documentation.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to explain operational topics clearly and manage sensitive situations diplomatically.
  • Good business mindset: able to understand revenue drivers, pricing considerations and commercial priorities.
  • High proficiency with MS Office; comfortable working with internal banking systems and reporting tools.
  • Excellent command of English; additional Asian language(s) a plus for regional client coverage.

  • Enthusiastic, proactive and eager to learn, with a genuine interest in progressing towards a CRM role while still embracing hands-on CRO tasks.
  • Strong team player able to work closely with colleagues across locations, while also operating independently when required.

  • Service-oriented, solutions-driven and resilient, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
