Job Responsibilities
Perform dimensional inspection for CNC machined parts according to engineering drawings and inspection plans.
Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calliper, micrometer, height gauge, bore gauge, thread gauge, pin gauge, dial indicator, and surface roughness tester.
Read and understand technical drawings, GD&T symbols, material specifications, and inspection requirements.
Record inspection results accurately in inspection reports or check sheets.
Identify and report nonconforming parts to the supervisor or quality engineer.
Segregate rejected parts and ensure proper identification of accepted, rejected, and pending inspection items.
Ensure measuring tools are handled properly and sent for calibration when required.
Follow company quality, safety, and production control procedures.
Requirements:
Nitec, Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Precision Engineering, Manufacturing or related field.
1-3 years of inspection experience in CNC machining or precision engineering industry.
Able to read mechanical drawing and understand tolerance requirements.
Experience in CMM inspection will be an advantage.
