Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Technology Project Manager to lead end-to-end technology migration and transformation initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. The role will manage projects spanning network infrastructure, workplace/end-user computing (EUC), cloud and related technology services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for project planning, execution, governance, financial management, stakeholder coordination and successful delivery of technology initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end delivery of technology infrastructure, application, network, workplace/EUC and migration projects.
Develop and manage project plans, schedules, milestones, budgets, resources and deliverables.
Define project scope, objectives, dependencies, assumptions, risks and success criteria.
Coordinate delivery across infrastructure, network, cloud, application, security, operations and business teams.
Manage project risks, issues, dependencies, changes and escalations.
Establish and maintain appropriate project governance, controls and documentation.
Track project progress against timelines, budgets and agreed milestones.
Prepare project status reports and present updates to senior stakeholders.
Manage internal stakeholders, external vendors and cross-functional technology teams.
Ensure project deliverables meet security, compliance, audit and quality requirements.
Support project budgeting, forecasting, expenditure tracking and variance analysis.
Monitor CAPEX and OPEX associated with technology initiatives.
Support business cases, investment proposals and technology financial planning.
Work with Finance, Procurement, Technology and Business teams on cost governance.
Support technology cost allocation, consumption tracking and benefits realization.
Ensure project approvals, documentation and sign-offs are maintained appropriately.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Finance or a related discipline.
Minimum 6 years of project management experience, preferably managing enterprise technology projects.
Strong experience delivering end-to-end infrastructure, migration, transformation or technology deployment projects.
Good understanding of network technologies and infrastructure.
Experience or knowledge of workplace technology and End-User Computing (EUC).
Good understanding of cloud technologies and technology service delivery.
Strong project planning, governance, budgeting, tracking and reporting experience.
Strong risk, issue, dependency and change management capabilities.
Experience managing multiple stakeholders, vendors and cross-functional teams.
Understanding of CAPEX, OPEX, budgeting, forecasting, cost estimation and expenditure tracking.
Knowledge of technology cost allocation, chargeback, consumption or service costing would be advantageous.
Experience working within banking, financial services or another regulated enterprise environment is preferred.
Understanding of regulatory, audit, compliance and technology risk requirements.
Excellent stakeholder management, communication, presentation and facilitation skills.
PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum or equivalent project management certification would be advantageous.
ITIL or technology service management certification would be an added advantage.
