Full Time Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator Jobs, Salary up to SGD 4,600 in Avanta Global Pte Ltd - Maukerja

Job Purpose

We are seeking a qualified and vigilant Workplace Safety and Health Coordinator (WSHC) to oversee day-to-day safety operations at our project sites. You will implement safety protocols, enforce compliance, and cultivate a proactive risk-awareness culture among all workers and subcontractors. This role reports directly to the Safety Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Surveillance: Conduct daily safety inspections and walkabouts to identify hazards and ensure a secure working environment.
• Rule Enforcement: Monitor site practices to guarantee all personnel strictly follow safety rules and wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Briefings & Engagement: Lead daily toolbox meetings, conduct site safety inductions, and deliver clear safety briefings to the workforce.
• Documentation Support: Assist in preparing, reviewing, and updating Risk Assessments (RA), Safe Work Procedures (SWP), and other necessary safety documents.
• Hazard Management: Report unsafe conditions or acts immediately, recommend rectifications, and follow up closely on corrective actions.
• Audits & Records: Maintain organized safety records, training logs, and incident reports to ensure compliance during internal and external audits.
• Team Collaboration: Assist the WSH Officer and Project Manager in executing the site Safety Management System (SMS) and resolving safety matters.

Requirements (About You)

• Qualifications: Possess an Advanced Certificate in Workplace Safety and Health (Level B) or relevant WSH certifications recognized by MOM.
• Continuous Training: Must hold a valid WSHC Refresher Course certificate
• Experience: Proven experience in the construction sector is highly preferred.
• Regulatory Knowledge: Familiar with the Singapore Workplace Safety and Health Act (WSHA) and relevant construction safety regulations.
• Communication Skills: Good interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence both site workers and subcontractors.
• Site Adaptability: Must be comfortable working actively within a dynamic construction site environment.

Pay: From $4,600.00 per month
