Summary
This role provides technical expertise and support to customers while collaborating with Sales and Engineering to develop tailored solutions. Reporting to the Director of Sales, Domestic, you will lead the Engineering team and oversee technical support for Industrial, Automotive aftermarket, and OEM customers, ensuring alignment with company strategy and service goals. You will also drive service excellence, strengthen customer relationships, improve technical processes, and identify opportunities for product development and business growth.
Description
Develop technical solutions, proposals, system designs, and cost estimates based on customer requirements
Provide pre- and post-sales support, including troubleshooting, feasibility studies, & application solutions
Drive product improvements through customer feedback, market trends, & emerging technologies
Support regional offices, distributors, OEMs, & end users
Conduct product demonstrations & technical training
Maintain product, application, & industry expertise
Manage technical documentation & training materials
Requirements
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, & diagnostic skills
Good communication skills & willingness to travel locally/regionally
The Successful Applicant:
Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
3 - 4 years’ hands-on experience in field service, engineering, manufacturing, or heavy industry, preferably involving bearings, machinery, or industrial equipment; knowledge of rotary & linear bearings is an added advantage
Customer-oriented with strong interest and initiative
Organized, analytical, structured, presentable, and professional
Strong communication and computer skills
Able to handle customer issues tactfully and professionally
Demonstrated project management abilities
