Production Planning Specialist

• Production Planning: You'll develop production and material plans that balance demand, inventory, and operational requirements.
• Inventory & Risk Management: You'll monitor inventory levels, anticipate potential risks, and help ensure smooth production operations.
• Costing & Analysis: You'll support forecasting and costing activities by analysing material costs, inventory trends, and operational data to support business decisions.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: You'll work closely with different teams to align priorities, manage changes, and keep production moving.
• Continuous Improvement: You'll identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy, inventory performance, and operational efficiency.

This role might fit you if:

• You hold a Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related field.
• You have 3 - 4 Years experience in production planning, material planning, or supply chain within a manufacturing environment.
• You’re highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• You’re comfortable working with Excel and ERP/MES systems and enjoy using data to drive decisions.

You'll work closely with colleagues across Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Supply Chain who understand the realities of manufacturing operations. Along the way, you'll gain exposure to how planning decisions are made, how inventory impacts the business, and how different teams work together to keep operations running smoothly.
