Job Title: Assistant Manager, Group Internal Communications


Job Purpose


Internal Communications

Responsible for creating and delivering compelling content that engages employees and strengthens company culture. You will work closely with internal key stakeholders to ensure all internal communication is clear, consistent and aligned with the company’s goals and values.


Key Responsibilities

Internal Communications


  1. Develop and deliver engaging internal communication content across multiple channels, including emails, newsletters, intranet articles, videos, and presentations.
  2. Support the implementation of the organization's internal communications strategy, ensuring consistent messaging and effective communication initiatives.
  3. Manage and maintain internal communication platform ie. email blast, instagram, ensuring content is relevant, accessible, and aligned with bank’s objectives.
  4. Partner with stakeholders across the organization to deliver clear, consistent, and impactful communications.
  5. Plan and manage editorial calendars to ensure timely and relevant content delivery.
  6. Drive employee engagement initiatives and support efforts to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  7. Help build and manage employee ambassador networks, including influencers and content creators, to strengthen employer branding initiatives.
  8. Coordinate internal events, campaigns, and engagement activities.
  9. Liaise with external vendors and service providers to support internal communication projects and initiatives.
  10. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.



Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Professional Qualification and/or Regulatory, Licensing requirements


Relevant Work Experience

  • Min 3-5 years working experience in internal communications, corporate communications or related field.


Required Competencies and Skills

  • Good verbal and written communications skills
  • Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Planning and organising skills
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills to engage and obtain the cooperation of other departments/divisions
  • Experience with content creation and delivery, including email, newsletters, intranet content, videos, and presentations
  • Ability to work collaboratively with key stakeholders across the organization
  • Strong attention to detail
