Job Summary
You will plan and coordinate public relations programs for construction projects, engage with affected parties, manage enquiries and feedback, and support communication efforts to maintain positive community relations.
Responsibilities
Plan and coordinate PR programs to support project objectives and community engagement
Collaborate with coordination and construction teams to understand construction workflows, activities, and schedules
Identify and map parties and public affected by construction works to tailor communication strategies
Manage enquiries and feedback by liaising with residents, consultants, and authorities to resolve issues proactively
Establish and maintain contacts with property owners and occupiers near project sites to foster positive relations
Engage regularly with local constituents and Management Corporation Committees (MCCs) to gather feedback and address complaints
Serve as the primary communication point for third parties and the public regarding complaints and feedback
Design and draft survey forms, conduct surveys, and analyze feedback related to construction works
Create and develop informational posters for distribution to affected parties at relevant premises
Support the project’s reputation management through effective communication and community outreach
Provide administrative support and perform ad-hoc tasks as needed
Required competencies and certifications
Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint to prepare presentations and communication materials
Preferred competencies and qualifications
GCE "A" / "O" level with a minimum of 2 years of public relations experience
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to build rapport with diverse stakeholders
Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and professionally
Pleasant personality to foster positive interactions with the community and project teams
