Role Description The Maintenance Planning Executive is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating aircraft maintenance activities to ensure fleet safety, compliance, and operational reliability. This on-site role, based in Klang, involves preparing and updating maintenance schedules, tracking maintenance status, and ensuring that all work complies with regulatory and company standards. The position includes reviewing technical documentation, coordinating with maintenance, engineering, and operations teams, and maintaining accurate records in maintenance planning systems. The Maintenance Planning Executive also supports continuous improvement by monitoring maintenance performance, identifying scheduling conflicts, and recommending process enhancements to optimize aircraft availability and turnaround.
Qualifications

• Experience in aviation maintenance planning, fleet management, or engineering support, with a solid understanding of aircraft maintenance programs and intervals.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and safety standards (e.g., IATA, IOSA, local aviation authorities) and ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and maintenance documentation.
• Proficiency with maintenance planning or CMMS software, spreadsheet and database tools, and strong skills in data analysis and reporting.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and capability to manage multiple maintenance events and priorities simultaneously.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills to work closely with maintenance, engineering, operations, and external partners.
• Relevant technical or engineering qualification in aviation, aerospace, mechanical, or related field; professional certifications in aircraft maintenance or planning are an advantage.
• Prior experience in airline or MRO environments is highly beneficial, particularly in narrow-body or regional aircraft operations.
• Willingness to work on-site in Klang and adapt to shift patterns or irregular hours when operational needs require.
