Job Description
Responsibilities
We are recruiting a Regional Business Planning Manager to join the APAC regional team of an established international luxury business, based in Singapore.
This is a broad regional position working closely with senior leadership and individual markets across Asia Pacific. The role sits at the intersection of commercial performance, business planning, retail and strategy, providing management with a clear view of how the region is performing and where the business should focus next.
The successful candidate will coordinate planning and forecasting across multiple markets, analyse commercial and retail performance, support regional strategic initiatives and provide the insight required for senior management decision-making.
While the position requires strong financial and analytical capability, this is not a traditional FP&A role. We are looking for someone who can look beyond the numbers, understand what is driving performance and turn analysis into practical commercial recommendations.

- Challenge assumptions and forecasts where appropriate, working with market teams to understand the underlying drivers.
- Support medium and longer-term strategic planning for the region.
- Prepare regional business reviews, management presentations and commercial analysis.
- Ensure senior leadership has clear, relevant and timely information to support decision-making.
Commercial Performance
- Monitor sales, growth, profitability and other key commercial indicators across APAC.
- Analyse performance by market, store, channel and other relevant business areas.
- Identify the reasons behind overperformance or underperformance and recommend appropriate actions.
- Work with country and regional teams to address performance gaps and maximise commercial opportunities.
- Track key business KPIs and highlight significant movements or changes.
- Develop meaningful reporting that gives management a clear picture of regional performance.
- Support commercial decision-making through scenario modelling and business analysis.
Retail & Market Performance
The role will maintain a close connection with the retail business and individual markets.
- Partner with regional and local retail teams to understand store and market performance.
- Review store productivity, sales trends, client behaviour and other commercial indicators.
- Identify differences in performance between markets and understand the reasons behind them.
- Support business cases for new stores, relocations, renovations and other retail investments.
- Review the commercial impact of major retail initiatives and investments.
- Provide analysis and recommendations around opportunities to improve retail productivity.
- Develop a strong understanding of the different commercial dynamics, client profiles and stages of market development across APAC.

- Manage regular forecasting and reforecasting cycles across the region.
- Consolidate information from markets and functions into regional forecasts.
- Analyse variances between actual performance, budget and forecast.
- Develop scenarios around sales, growth, investment and market development.
- Improve forecasting accuracy and consistency across markets.
- Provide early visibility of potential commercial risks or opportunities.
- Work closely with Finance while maintaining a broader commercial perspective on the business.
