Responsibilities

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Human Resource & Admin Manager to lead our human resources, administrative functions, occupational safety operations, and overall employee engagement strategy. In this pivotal leadership role, you will champion a high-performance workplace culture, lead initiatives that enhance morale and retention, and ensure strict compliance with Malaysian labor laws, safety regulations, and automotive manufacturing standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Employee Engagement & Culture: Lead employee engagement programs, recognition schemes, and wellbeing initiatives to build an inclusive workplace and reinforce our standing as an Employer of Choice.
  • Human Resources Management: Oversee end-to-end HR functions, including recruitment, organizational development, performance reviews, and workforce planning.
  • Industrial & Employee Relations: Manage employee communications, welfare programs, and conflict resolution while maintaining full compliance with the Malaysian Employment Act.
  • Occupational Health, Safety & Environment (HSE): Lead plant safety protocols, risk assessments, safety committee meetings, and emergency preparedness to sustain a zero-incident culture.
  • Statutory & Audit Compliance: Drive adherence to statutory guidelines (including HRD Corp, OSHA, and BOMBA standards) and maintain audit-ready documentation for IATF 16949 quality audits.
  • General Administration & Facilities: Supervise facility maintenance, administrative services, security operations, and corporate insurance renewals.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive HR, Safety, and team leadership experience, preferably within automotive manufacturing or heavy industrial environments.
  • Proven track record in successfully designing and leading organisation changes, employee engagement, culture-building, and retention programs.
  • Certified Safety Coordinator is a strong added advantage.
  • Strong expertise in Malaysian labor legislation, statutory filings, and workplace safety compliance.

Pay: RM8,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
