Position : Presales IT Specialist

Salary : Up to RM8500

Location : Desa Aman Puri, Kepong

Working Days : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

The Presales IT Specialist supports the sales team by providing technical expertise, solution consulting, and product presentations to potential clients. This role focuses on understanding customer needs, recommending suitable IT solutions, and ensuring smooth collaboration between business and technical teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Understand client business requirements and recommend suitable IT solutions and services.
• Work closely with sales and technical teams to prepare solution proposals and technical documentation.
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and technical briefings for clients.
• Provide technical consultation and support during the presales process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and IT best practices.
• Support proposal refinement, proof-of-concept activities, and technical discussions with customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure proposed solutions meet customer expectations.
• Handle multiple client engagements and support ongoing business opportunities.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks or projects assigned by management.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in presales, IT consulting, technical support, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, cloud solutions, cybersecurity, and POS systems.
• Experience in system engineering, SQL, or technical consulting is an added advantage.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
• Able to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to RM8,500.00 per month

Education:

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma (Preferred)

Experience:

• Pre-sales: 1 year (Preferred)
• IT support: 1 year (Preferred)
• Network infrastructure: 1 year (Preferred)
