Position Title: Asst. HR & Admin Manager
Industry: Packaging Manufacturing
Location: Kota Kemuning, Shah Alam
Job Responsibilities
Manage the full spectrum of the Human Resources and Admin department, including but not limited to Recruitment, Compensation & Benefit, Training & Development, Employee Relation and Industrial Relation.
Manage the monthly payroll and report whilst maintaining all the data accurately and in confidence.
Liaise with local government, authorities, agencies and statutory bodies in relation to regulatory compliance.
Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Coordinate the recruitment activities, including job posting, sourcing candidates, interviewing and new employee on board procedures.
Manage with agents in sourcing of foreign workers and oversee other related matters such as renewal of permit, welfare, accommodation, disciplinary issues etc.
Provide HR expertise to other department heads for staff counselling and grievances, terminations, and other employee related matters.
To assist in conducting investigations and domestic inquiries upon receipt of complaints or reports on indiscipline.
Responsible for employee engagement activities by organising events for the company.
Provide the necessary confidential administrative support for MD including office administration functions.
Manage overall office and factory administration including overseeing the outsourced security guards.
Perform ad-hoc or any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time
Requirements
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
At least 6-8 years of experience in the HR field and out of which at least 3 years in managerial capacity in the manufacturing environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; good command in both English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Dynamic individual and proven record of being a successful HR practitioner.
Strong knowledge in Employment Act, Malaysia Labour Law and other related legislation.
Ability to work independently and is a highly self-motivated individual.
Good MS-Office skills (Excel, PPT).
- Preparation and updating of attendance summary, management reports and other payroll related information to relevant departments
- Ensure timely recruitment of new/replacement staff according to standards
- Providing counselling and advise to staffs as and when required
- Ensure all personnel file for staffs are maintained in a discretionary basis
- Issuance of all employee related letters and correspondence
- Ensure compliance to all policies and procedures set by the company
- Monitor cleanliness of all back of house areas
- Managing and ensure par stock for supplies i.e stationeries and are in order
- To perform any ad-hoc tasks assigned by the Direct Superior
