Have in-depth knowledge of export/import regulations such as duties, taxes, tariffs, quotas, preferential trade agreements and retaliatory duties. Provide guidance and support to customs specialist regarding maintenance of Hershey’s compliance program. Develop and maintain relationships with all relevant personnel to ensure integration with customs processes. Ensure appropriate understanding of required procedures for customs and trade adherence. Utilize and refine global trade systems to improve processes and controls that will ensure compliant and profitable operations for exports, imports and customs. Lead the development and improvement of Hershey internal processes, policies and procedures focused on improving export/import and customs operations while managing costs. Maintain SAP S4 & GTS customs data integrity for processes needed to support Malaysia origin shipments.
