a) Manage and lead the end-to-end purchasing process, including requisition processing, purchase order creation, supplier coordination, and invoice reconciliation. b) Controlling the purchasing budget and promoting a culture of long-term saving on costs. c) Optimize inventory levels by implementing effective inventory management practices, ensuring adequate stock availability while minimizing carrying costs. d) Prepare all required reports and submit in a timely manner. e) Maintaining purchasing activities records. f) Working closely with internal departments to develop and maintain collaborative relationships to source, procure and identify suppliers and key technology suitable for the project. g) Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical sourcing practices. h) Responsible for all the incoming and outgoing delivery from supplier and customer respectively, coordinate with Business Development unit to arrange delivery. i) Liaise with local authority such as Royal Malaysia Customs, compliance with rules and regulations. j) Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency. k) Authorized to make decisions on all issues related to the Purchasing Unit. l) Support ad-hoc tasks as and when required by the Management.
