We are looking for a skilled HR Supervisor who is well-versed in manual HR systems and adept at handling various HR functions in a startup setting. If you have a knack for managing immigration processes, payroll recruitment and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
i. Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to the needs of a startup environment, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
ii. Conduct regular audits and assessments of HR processes to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions accordingly.
iii. Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters including performance management, disciplinary actions, and employee relations.
iv. Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding processes, including orientation sessions and exit interviews.
v. Collaborate with management to identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
vi. Act as a liaison between management and employees to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster a positive work environment.
vii. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in HR management, and incorporate new ideas and approaches to continuously improve HR processes.
viii. Prepare HR-related reports and analytics to provide insights and support decision-making processes.
ix. Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, promoting a welcoming and supportive work environment for all employees.
x. Lead special HR projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to meet evolving business needs.
Requirements:
i. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
ii. Proven experience as an HR Supervisor or similar role in a startup environment.
iii. In-depth knowledge of manual HR systems and processes.
iv. Familiarity with immigration procedures including Employment Pass (EP), quota management, and visa renewals.
v. Proficient in payroll processing using manual systems.
vi. Strong ability to source and recruit candidates effectively.
vii. Excellent organizational and time management skills.
viii. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
ix. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
