- What you need- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience in a production environment.- Strong proficiency in Go or Python. One of the two is a firm requirement — we screen on it.- Solid understanding of asynchronous programming, concurrency patterns, and building RESTful or gRPC APIs.- Strong TypeScript and Node.js.- Proficiency in React, Next.js or Vue for building developer dashboards, API key management tools and analytics views.- Production experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL — Redis for caching and rate-limiting, MongoDB, or ClickHouse for analytics.- Hands-on experience with AWS or GCP, plus Docker and modern CI/CD pipelines.- A deep commitment to testable code and a solid grasp of unit testing frameworks go test, pytest, Jest).- Understanding of time and space complexity, memory management, and how to identify a real performance bottleneck.
- Nice to have- AI / LLM knowledge: familiarity with the ecosystem (Anthropic, OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, Ollama). Understanding tokenization, embeddings and prompt structures is a massive plus.- Experience building tools specifically for developers — APIs, SDKs, or CLI tools.- Knowledge of edge computing or serverless architectures (AWS Lambda, Cloudflare Workers).- Experience handling real-time data streaming or WebSockets.Who does well here- Problem solver.
