Supervise & facilitate activities of purchasing, expediting, inspection, logistic coordination & duty/tax exemption to ensure these activities are carried out in a timely manner and comply with project specifications.
Collaborate with Project Director / Manager in project material planning / scheduling so as project procurement is in line with construction priorities/sequence to enable optimum project expenditure without jeopardizing the overall project schedule.
Review expediting reports and proactively anticipate areas of concern, especially with regards to equipment delivery so recovery plans are worked out together with expeditor, engineering & project personnel to ensure equipment’s are delivered within project schedule....
