A+ English is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Virtual English Teacher to join our team of educators. We are an online educator dedicated to providing quality English language courses to students of all ages. As a Virtual English Teacher, you will have the opportunity to teach from the comfort of your own home while making a positive impact on the lives of your students.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Virtual Classroom Instruction: Conduct virtual English language lessons using video conferencing (zoom), engaging students in interactive and dynamic learning experiences.
2. Curriculum Development: Develop and implement effective lesson plans and teaching materials that align with established language learning goals and objectives.
3. Assessments and Feedback: Evaluate students' progress through regular assessments, assignments, and quizzes. Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills.
4. Individualized Instruction: Tailor instruction to meet the specific needs of each student, including those at various proficiency levels (e.g., beginners, intermediate, advanced).
5. Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with the manager and peers for regular progress updates.
6. Classroom Management: Create a supportive and inclusive virtual learning environment, ensuring that all students feel comfortable and motivated to participate.
7. Technology Proficiency: Be proficient in using virtual classroom tools and digital resources to facilitate learning and interaction.
8. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies, trends, and best practices in language education.
9. Attendance and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, performance, and progress reports.
10. Compliance: Adhere to company policies, teaching standards, and ensure a safe and respectful learning environment.
Requirements:
• Diploma/degree in English, Education, or a related field (TEFL/TESOL certification is a plus).
• Previous experience in teaching English, either in a traditional classroom or virtually.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Familiarity with virtual teaching tools and platforms.
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet, distraction-free workspace at home.
• Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate students’ requirement.
