Duties & Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain relationships with industrial clients, understand their requirements, and identify opportunities for process and power plant solutions.
- Develop detailed designs and engineering specifications for process and power plants, including equipment selection, layout, and integration of various components.
- Develop cost estimates, project budgets, and financial analyses for process and power plant projects, considering factors such as equipment costs, installation, operating expenses, and return on investment.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering, procurement and project , to develop comprehensive proposals and bid packages that meet client requirements and competitive pricing.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure favorable outcomes and mutually beneficial agreements.

Maintenance (Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation, Utilities/Automation) of the power plant according to procedures and requirements including but not limited to starting, loading, unloading and shutting down the complete plant and systems
Have sound knowledge of the safe operating parameters, controls, precaution and safety interlocks when starting and loading plant equipment so as to avoid damage and to be able to run the plant in the most efficient manner
Plant process conditions troubleshooting, analyzing and testing when necessary

Perform scheduled plant inspection according to maintenance regime as well as ensuring that our gas plant, auxiliaries and common systems are maintained
Coordination of all Mechanical Maintenance programmes (PM & CM)
Manage and optimize all planned plant/equipment maintenance activities during minor and major overhauls and inspections
Responsible for the functional tests and analyzes the failures related to mechanical systems and components and recommends corrective actions to prevent re-occurrence. Troubleshooting of defects issues & carrying out failure analysis.
Study, evaluate and implement plant improvement projects to enhance overall plant reliability, availability and performance
Execute approved plant improvement works
Supervision of maintenance contract works and prepare work procedures for all maintenance activities
Prepare technical specifications for equipment parts and work services. Manage the procurement of parts and services.
Manage a team effectively through day-to-day activities
job requirement
Degree/diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in engineering/maintenance from the Power Plant environment
Sound Mechanical engineering maintenance knowledge and standards. Good knowledge of safety and statutory requirements.
Willing to work in a hot and humid environment (allowances provided)
Willing to work in the West (transport shuttle provided from MRT)
