Role Description
As a Senior Telecommunications Engineer, this on-site role requires the incumbent to manage telecom related services for business operations, Project and drilling activities.
1. Responsible for telecommunications-related equipment's and services such as PAGA System, HF equipment, wind speed metering system , satellite services, and DMR equipment.
2. Provide reporting on failure analysis and technical proposals to improve service delivery for better efficiency.
3. Planning and managing work programs, budgets, and contracts related to telecom services.
4. Participate in daily operations meetings and regularly communicate with various departments to forecast and manage required services for business continuity.
5. Plan and manage contractors to carry out corrective maintenance (CM) and preventive maintenance (PM) services for telecom related equipment to provide reliability and availability of telecommunications services.
6. Ability to analyze data related to business related systems.
7. Responsible for providing an emergency response to an incident related to offshore/onshore communication services.
Qualifications
1. A Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or an equivalent engineering field.
2. Minimum of 6 years of relevant industry work experience.
3. The candidate is able to work with a team to collaborate and have a positive attitude and self-motivation.
4. Excellent interpersonal skills.
5. Good presentation skills and excellent technical report writing skills.
6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
7. Good communication skills in English.
