We're looking for a Product Designer to join Authgear, Oursky's identity platform. Authgear handles login, signup, and access control for other companies' apps: passkeys, MFA, single sign-on, enterprise SSO. Our users are developers and the businesses they build for, so you'll be designing two quite different surfaces: the console developers configure, and the login screens their end users hit millions of times.

This is in-house product work rather than client projects. You own decisions end to end and see them ship.

------

What you'll do

Design the product

Design flows for the Portal: configuration, project settings, user management.
Design the end-user auth UI: login, signup, MFA, passkeys, account recovery.

Prototype and validate

Vibe-code interactive prototypes so decisions land on something clickable.
Sit in on customer and prospect calls. Hear where the product confuses people.

Ship it

Work directly with engineers through build, not just handoff.
Review what shipped against what you designed. Push for the fixes.
Ship small front-end changes yourself. You'll have repo access and open PRs directly.

Support sales and marketing

Occasionally design collateral: decks, one-pagers, event material.
Design pages and updates for authgear.com, keeping it consistent with the product.

Research and learn

Explore new technologies, open-source libraries, and products.
Find better ways to solve customer problems.

------

Requirements

You already know…

Designing software products, ideally B2B SaaS
Rapid prototyping with AI-assisted tools
Working from complex, functional requirements: configuration, data-heavy screens, multi-step flows

You want to learn…

Identity and access: OAuth, SSO, SAML, passkeys, MFA
Working in the front-end yourself: git, a local dev setup, and shipping small changes
What enterprise buyers need: audit trails, permissioning, compliance

What matters most…

You make a call under ambiguity, state the assumption, and move.
You write well. We're distributed, and most decisions happen in writing.
You work unsupervised. Nobody will assign you tickets.

------

Who this is for

Comfortable going deep on a technical domain they don't know yet
Love understanding real business problems and solving them with AI

------

Why join

Authgear is open source and runs in production at enterprises and startups across Asia.
Small team means your opinions on product direction are actually heard.

------

What We Offer

Flexible working hours
Flexible vacation policy
Profit-sharing plan for employees joining 2+ years

------

How to apply

Apply at https://jobs.oursky.com/jobs/authgear-designer. CV and portfolio screen, a 30-minute interview, then a one-hour whiteboard challenge.
