TECHNICAL SALES ENGINEER

PES Technologies Sdn. Bhd.

Fresh Graduates Are Welcome

Build Your Career Beyond a Normal Sales Job

Are you a Mechanical / Engineering graduate who enjoys understanding how machines work, solving problems and meeting people?

Do you want a career that combines:

Engineering + Customer + Site + Business

At PES Technologies, we are looking for a Technical Sales Engineer who wants to develop into a professional who can understand customer problems, recommend technical solutions and eventually manage customers and business opportunities independently.

You do not need to know everything from Day 1.

We will train you.

You will learn about industrial pumps and valves, join customer visits and site inspections, understand real industrial applications and gradually develop your own area of responsibility.

What You Will Learn & Do

Learn Industrial Pumps & Valves

You will receive practical training in areas such as:

Centrifugal pumps and industrial pump applications
Pump selection and basic sizing
Industrial valves and valve selection
Mechanical seals and related equipment
Understanding flow, pressure, temperature and process conditions
Product application and technical quotation

You will learn not only what the product is, but also why a particular solution is suitable for the application.

Work Directly With Customers

Your initial focus will be customer-facing work.

You will learn how to:

Understand what customers actually need
Ask the right technical questions
Identify equipment and application problems
Follow up enquiries and quotations
Explain technical solutions to customers
Build long-term customer relationships
Develop new business opportunities

You will not simply be selling a product from a catalogue.

You will learn to sell solutions.

Go to Industrial Sites

We believe technical knowledge becomes much stronger when you see the actual equipment.

You will have opportunities to:

Join customer site visits
Inspect pumps, valves and related equipment
Understand actual plant applications
Observe troubleshooting and maintenance situations
Discuss problems directly with customers
Learn from experienced team members

If you enjoy being out of the office and seeing how equipment works in the real world, you will enjoy this role.

Develop Your Own Strength

We do not expect every person to follow exactly the same career path.

During your development, we will observe your:

Technical ability
Customer communication
Problem-solving skills
Site capability
Commercial awareness
Initiative and ownership

As you gain experience, your role can gradually develop towards areas such as:

Technical Sales | Application Engineering | Customer Management | Project Development | Service & Site Support

The goal is to develop you into someone who can eventually own customers, understand their technical requirements and develop business opportunities independently.

Who We Are Looking For

We are looking for someone with potential, not someone who already knows everything.

Education

Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or other related engineering disciplines
Fresh graduates are welcome
Candidates with relevant industrial experience are encouraged to apply

Technical Interest

You should have a genuine interest in:

Pumps
Valves
Rotating equipment
Industrial equipment
Plant maintenance
Mechanical systems
Engineering applications

Experience in pumps, valves, rotating equipment, mechanical seals, plant maintenance or industrial equipment will be an advantage.

More Important Than Your Experience

We are looking for someone who:

Wants to learn
Is not afraid of technical work
Is comfortable visiting industrial sites
Can communicate with customers
Is willing to ask questions and understand problems
Can think instead of simply waiting for instructions
Takes responsibility for assigned work
Is willing to follow through until the job is completed
Can work independently after proper guidance
Has a positive and practical attitude

You do not need to be an experienced salesperson when you join us.

We can teach you the products and sales process.

What is much harder to teach is curiosity, responsibility, initiative and the willingness to learn.
