The Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Expeditor to play a vital role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and timely completion of projects. You will be a master of communication, proactively managing shipments, resolving issues, and collaborating with internal and external partners to guarantee on-time delivery and minimize disruptions.
Job Description:
• Coordinate with procurement and logistics team to monitor purchase order status and actively anticipate potential delays.
• Take initiative to mitigate risks and expedite delivery schedules as needed, minimizing operational disruptions.
• Become the central point of contact for all procurement timeline inquiries, issues, and concerns.
• Proactively communicate with vendors to ensure timely material delivery, addressing potential delays and proactively managing supply chain risks.
• Track order and shipment status, promptly resolving any discrepancies or issues that impact delivery.
• Collaborate with Material & Logistics Coordinator to ensure effective coordination and optimal scheduling of shipments to meet project timelines.
• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with internal departments, suppliers, and vendors to foster collaboration and efficient information exchange and facilitate smooth order processing.
• Track and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to on-time delivery performance, including lead times, delays, and root causes.
• Prepare regular reports summarizing on-time delivery performance and analyse OTD data to highlight areas for improvement.
• Implement corrective actions and best practices to address recurring issues and improve OTD performance.
• Strictly adhere to established company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of procurement processes and materials management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and other relevant software applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport and collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve challenges promptly.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:-
Carry out the function of project material PR request in P16 SAP, material control, tracking and stock check at every phase of the project execution.
Responsible for material loadout preparation at fabrication yard
Liaise with project team, CSR and multi discipline engineers to ensure material delivery performance at various locations to meet target KPI.
Qualifications:
Diploma in engineering
Working Experience:
Minimum 8 years of working experience as material expeditor, material coordinator or material controller in oil and gas industry.
Minimum 5 years of offshore experience as material coordinator.
Other requirements:
Skilled in SAP system for preparing COG (Consignment of Goods) and able to raise PR using latest version of Sap P16.
Skilled in Microsoft Excel, up to level of able to perform the function of pivot table and VLOOKUP.
Skilled in any material tracking system, e.g EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
Dealing with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPIC) project
Assisting Procurement Manager to communicate with suppliers about all order documentation depending on the package type, track the status of production of manufacturing, problem-solving to reduce the impact of late deliveries and shipments.

Your role is to facilitate for the development of strategic project plans, which can help the organization meeting its growth goals. You will primarily look at the requirement levels in the business and fulfill the demands by verifying the Master Schedule on a weekly basis. You are also responsible for preparing the weekly milestone schedules and the preparation of forecast for procurement, equipment arrival, assembly / fabrication, testing, delivery and commissioning. Your key metrics will be to monitor and ensure smooth On-time Delivery and good forecast of the milestone billing Cycle.
Work with project lead (PL) / project manager (PM) to verify contractual schedule (by sales team) during SHO (sales hand over) and prepare detailed schedule of various project stages / phases for each individual Project.
Monitor and update schedule for each project on a weekly basis and chase PL/PM in any case of delays.
Prepare forecasting reports for finance (customer billing), procurement, assembly, QEHS and service teams.
Collect status of purchased equipment readiness, incoming / IAT / outgoing inspections, ongoing assembly works, deliveries and commissioning from supporting departments
Monitor / Track the progress of projects throughout their life cycles and update project schedule, investigate discrepancies and implement corrective actions e.g. progress shortages and late deliveries and reschedule as necessary.
Work closely with PL, PM & system lead (SL) and supporting department representatives to ensure adherence to project schedule leading to service satisfaction.
Support to project managers for preparing biweekly / monthly progress report for individual project.
Communicate the status of projects to management.
Job Requirement:
Degree / Diploma in Business / Engineering
Min. of 1-2 years of working experience in a project organization
Good exposure in MS Excel and Project apps.
Good exposure in a project management environment to act as a control for scheduling and execution of projects.
Resourceful with good communication skills in between differnt departments.
Possess good experience in expediting schedules and achieving timeline targets.
Good knowledge in MS Word and Powerpoint will be an advantage.
Knowledge of purchasing and logistic flow.
