YTL Cement Berhad is the nation's largest producer of ready-mixed concrete, through its subsidiay Buildcon Concrete Sdn Bhd. Buildcon Concrete currently operates more than 50 batching plants throughout Peninsular Malaysia. In response to increasing market demand, YTL Cement acquired a 100% ownership of C.I.Readymix Sdn Bhd to complement its strategic market coverage.

YTL Cement Berhad operates a 1.2 million tonne per annum Intergrated Cement Plant in Bukit Sagu, Pahang ; as well as Clinker and Blast Furnace Slag Grinding Plants at Westport, Klang and Pasir Gudang, Johor, each of 500,000 m/t per annum capacity.

In 2005, YTL Cement acquired a 65$% controlling stake in Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd. This Integrated Plant has a clinker production capacity of 3.0 million tonnes and Cement Grinding capacity of 3.4 million tonnes per annum.

YTL Cement Berhad is currently the 2nd largest Cement Producer in the country with a total of 5.3 million tonnes per annum.

In 2007, YTL Cement acquired an Intergrated Plant in the Zhe Jiang Province, China. It marks the first entry of YTL Cement into the China cement market. The plant has a production capacity of 2.0 million tonnes cement per annum.
