In my role as Global QA Director for Assembly and Test at Atmel Malaysia, I was part of the initial team that established the QA organization in Penang. My responsibilities include overseeing the Quality Management System at various Assembly and Test Suppliers in countries such as Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Taiwan, Korea, and China to ensure they meet Atmel's quality standards. My focus is on managing quality at IC Contract Assembly and Test Suppliers, which involves tasks such as measuring supplier performance, auditing operations, implementing continuous improvement initiatives, developing supplier quality strategies, and addressing customer complaints. I also have experience working with end customers in regions such as Japan, North America, Mexico, and Europe.
