YTL Cement Berhad, through its subsidiary Buildcon Concrete Sdn Bhd, is the largest producer of ready-mixed concrete in Malaysia. With over 50 batching plants strategically located throughout Peninsular Malaysia, Buildcon Concrete is at the forefront of the industry, catering to increasing market demands.
Our Operations
YTL Cement Berhad operates a state-of-the-art Integrated Cement Plant with a capacity of 1.2 million tonnes per annum in Bukit Sagu, Pahang. Additionally, we have Clinker and Blast Furnace Slag Grinding Plants in Westport, Klang, and Pasir Gudang, Johor, each with a capacity of 500,000 metric tonnes per annum.
In 2005, YTL Cement acquired a controlling stake in Perak-Hanjoong Simen Sdn Bhd, further expanding our production capabilities. This Integrated Plant boasts a clinker production capacity of 3.0 million tonnes and Cement Grinding capacity of 3.4 million tonnes per annum.
Our Achievements
YTL Cement Berhad is currently the second-largest Cement Producer in Malaysia, with a total production capacity of 5.3 million tonnes per annum. We've also expanded internationally, with the acquisition of an Integrated Plant in Zhe Jiang Province, China, marking our entry into the Chinese cement market.
