About Chin Swee Food Sdn Bhd

Chin Swee Vegetarian Restaurant started her 1st outlet in Genting Highlands.

 Mr. Wong founded the restaurant back in year 2007. He was a reputable chef in the arena of chinese cuisine in Malaysia. Started his career in the F&B industry when he was 15 years old. He also a council member of the Chinese Chef Association of Malaysia along with the famous chinese chain restaurants in Malaysia.

 In year 2007, Mr. Wong was invited by Genting Highlands founder, late Tan Sri Lim Goh Tong to open a one and only vegetarian restaurant in Genting Higlands, and hence Chin Swee Vegetarain Restaurant was founded.

 The restaurant business was passed on to Mr Wong’s daughter, Aiveen Wong in year 2012.

The enthusiasm, and passion grew much stronger with the younger Wong.

With her youthful ideas kept up with current F&B trend, she introduced a new vegetarian cuisine lifestyle to their customers. Vegetarian Cuisine need not be so boring anymore. It can be enjoyed by all. Hence she promoted Flexitarian extensively.

We focused on 4 main simple things.

1. Fresh & natural ingredients from local farmers in the highlands

2. Healthy cooking style

3. Tasty   

4. Cozy & Comfortable Dining experience

Aiveen managed to transformed Chin Swee Vegetarian Restaurant from a traditional setup to a modernize restaurant. We get ideas by travelling the world and incorporate ideas to the business. 

She insist on sourcing the ingredients from surrounding farms from the highlands of Ulu Kali.

Most of our vegetables are sourced from local home grown farmers. The vegetarian food are naturally made with no added preservatives, no added MSG.

Our sauces are family owned recipes from the Wong family.

Chin Swee Vegetarian Restaurant is proud to be the 1st Vegetarian  Restaurant in Malaysia to be awarded the World Top Gourmet Award in year 2019.
