Chung Yih Steel Sdn Bhd is a privately owned Malaysian company set up in year 1991. The company started production of Cold Drawn and Polished Steel Bar in a factory at Seberang Jaya, Prai. In year 1998, the company expanded and moved to a new premise at Bukit Minyak.

Our Products

When the company first started, we only produce Cold Drawn and Polished Bar using combined drawing machines and draw benches. We also provide additional service such as chamfering and grinding upon special request from customers. Now, we have expanded our product range by offering new items: Peeled and Polished Bars and Quenched and Tempered Bars and have also increased our product size range.

Our products are produced according to customer's required standards (JIS / AISI / SAE etc.) and are mostly supplied to customers in the automotive industry. We focus on selling domestically with small portion being exported to countries like Australia, New Zealand, Pakistan and Singapore.

We are committed to provide high quality products and prompt delivery and have obtained ISO 9001: 2008 to control the accountability of our products and services.
