Prepare fixed income credit proposals, provide analytical support in submissions to the relevant approving authorities and ensure speedy turnaround time. This includes the following: identify pertinent credit related issues; liaise with business units and internal approvers to obtain approvals; handle post-approval work process, including proper maintenance of records.
Evaluate the credit quality of the Bank's corporate bonds portfolio in various industries and identify pertinent credit & other deal related issues.
Monitor the fixed income portfolio to ensure any deterioration in the asset quality is properly escalated to the relevant authorities....
To be responsible for the overall performance of the assigned team including but not limited to achieving growth of the profitability of the team, growth of the loans/financing portfolio by ensuring new and incremental loans / financing of the required quality are approved, accepted and disbursed in a timely fashion, existing loan or financing facilities are well utilized to generate the requisite income, that there is the required growth in business deposits, as well as ensuring appropriate cross-selling of relevant universal banking products & services, to both existing and new customers.

Conduct customer profitability analysis and account strategy formulation with the help of product specialists, as required, for both existing and potential clients. Execute the account strategy plan including cross-selling activities or phase-out activities.
Be the first-line primary contact person for the customer on all queries relating to credit, deposits and other products and services including on operational issues.
To develop and maintain professional customer relationships with key decision makers (viz. CEO, CFO, Head of Treasury, Head of HR etc)....

Keep abreast of market and regulatory developments that could impact underwriting standards and asset quality. Make recommendations for changes in the various Tools as required.
Ensure timely initiation of client and/or portfolio reviews using the EWI framework, and timely and accurate classification of Watch List names, inclusive of corrective actions steps by the SBU’s....
