Our History is a History of Passion…

 

In 1698, the two Cronier Brothers arrived at the Cape of Good Hope, South Africa, on the ship “Driebergen”. Shortly after their arrival, they were granted ownership of the farms “Olyvenhout” and “Champagne” (known today as the town of Wellington). The vines planted in this fertile soil and excellent winemaking terroir produced the very best grapes for making fine wines. In 2006, Cronier Wines was re-established by a group of multicultural partners who have now expanded the Cronier Brand overseas.

Today…

For many years, Spain and France have been known for their expertise in winemaking. South Africa is the “New”, and the Cronier brand was created to bridge the divide between the “Old” and the “New”, to create “Classical New World Wines.”

Today the heritage that was left by the Cronier brothers is still being carried on by Cronier Wines, bringing you a pledge of quality and the art of winemaking in every bottle.

With the expansion of the company, Cronier Wines Malaysia is now the sole distributor of the Cronier wines in South East Asia.
