In 1988, IRMAL was incorporated to facilitate trade between Malaysia and Middle East countries. IRMAL diversified from being solely a trading company to a specialist manufacturer of Palm -based Oleo chemicals. This was achieved with close collaboration from a leading Oleo chemicals company in Malaysia. Products represented by IRMAL are for application in tyre and rubber related products , food and confectionery, soap and detergents, pharmaceuticals, cooking oil and specialty fats.
