Tentang JONFONG WOOD PRODUCTS SDN BHD

The history of the business started in 1993 with the incorporation of Jonfong Wood Products Sdn Bhd. The company commenced operations in 1993 with the production of wooden furniture parts and components for Household Wooden Seating Furniture. In 1997, the company expanded its operations to incorporate the manufacturing of the entire Wooden Seating Furniture.

Mr Sun Pai Yin is the main founder of Jonfong Wood Products Sdn Bhd. He is supported by Madam Chiu Jui Chi, who is the co-founder. Mr Sun Pai Yin brings with him approximately 35 years of experience in the wood-based furniture industry and both the founder and co-founder have been instrumental in the success, growth and development of the Jonfong Group of Companies.

As part of the Goup's expansion plans, Jonfong Wood Products first ventured into the export market in 1997. To date, the Group has successfully penatrated the overseas markets to cover countries including United States, Canada, Taiwan, Singapore, Middle East and United Kingdom.

As part of the Group's expansion plans, the Group ventered into the manufacturing of other types of wood-based furniture including tables and cabinets in 2004 and 2005 respectively.

Since the commencement of hte Group's operation in 1994, Jonfong Wood Products has position itself as an established manufacturer of Household Wooden Seating Furniture in Malaysia with a revenue of RM57.2 million for the financial year ended 31 December 2004.
