About Julung Cipta Sdn Bhd

Julung Cipta Sdn Bhd (JCSB) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kumpulan Prasarana Rakyat Johor Sdn. Bhd. (KPRJ) whereas KPRJ is a company wholly owned by the State of Johor. JCSB was incorporated on 28th October 1996. The paid up capital of JCSB at 28th May 1997 is RM 600,000.00.

In the beginning, JCSB was set up for maintaining and building new mosques in several district of the Johor State for KPRJ. A total 32 other mosques had been successfully completed in several districts of Johor under this programmed.

On 26th March 2004, JCSB has been made the wholly own subsidiary of KPRJ and appointed new board of directors with a new management team. KPRJ had increased the paid-up capital for JCSB to RM1, 500,000.00. JCSB had successfully obtained Grade G7 with Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) on 5th April 2004 and PKK License, Bumiputera Status Class A on 17th Jun 2004, ISO 9001:2008 on 10th March 2008.

With the new team on board, JCSB has successfully secured projects namely at the prestigious Johor State New Administrative Centre (JSNAC). The current and completed projects for Phase I is RM170 million and expected to increase to RM500 million until 2010. JCSB is actively involved with the current development within Nusajaya and Iskandar Development Region. Some of JCSB’s main clients are Cahaya Jauhar Sdn Bhd, Nusajaya Development Sdn Bhd, Iskandar Investment Berhad and Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad.

Within four years since the restructuring, JCSB has completed and undertaken projects worth more than RM500 million.
